Fire Erupts at Greater Noida Factory, No Injuries

On Wednesday, a fire broke out at a Greater Noida mattress manufacturing facility, causing extensive property damage but no reported casualties, according to officials.

Fifteen fire tenders were dispatched after the incident was reported at 5:15 p.m. from the plant in Surajpur’s Site B area, according to the officials.

Several videos and images of the incident went viral on social media, showing dense black smoke rising from the location and visible in the sky. “We learned of a fire at MH Polymer, a business that manufactures foam sleeping mattresses, at around 5:15 p.m. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene right away, according to Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey.
