Fintech City near Noida Airport aims for global recognition with YIDA’s big move

Fintech City near Noida Airport is set to gain national and global recognition as Yamuna Authority (YIDA) prepares to host a roadshow in Mumbai to attract leading financial institutions. The Fintech City, being developed in Yamuna City, Greater Noida, near the Noida International Airport, will showcase its master plan to banks, insurance firms, mutual fund companies, and stock exchange operators during the roadshow.

After holding an initial consultation with financial institutions in Delhi, YIDA is now seeking insights from Mumbai’s financial experts to refine the project’s layout and facilities. Spread across 750 acres in Sector 11, the Fintech City will feature 11 dedicated blocks for specific financial activities, such as banking, depository services, commercial transactions, and stock exchange operations.

In the first phase, six blocks will be developed, with plots starting at 500 square meters for allocation to financial companies. Land acquisition for the site is already underway.

YIDA’s OSD Shailendra Bhatia emphasized that Mumbai’s expertise in finance will help tailor the project to meet global standards and attract investments. The aim is to transform Fintech City into a world-class financial hub, drawing top companies from India and abroad to set up offices and operational centers.
