Terrifying Email Bomb Threat Sparks Panic in 4 Noida Schools, Swift Probe Underway

At least four schools in Noida, Uttar Pradesh,induced panic among parents, students and staff after receiving a bomb threat through email on Wednesday. The schools that were targeted were Step by Step School, The Heritage School, Gyanshree School and Mayur School. In view of the threat, the police of Uttar Pradesh, a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), fire brigade and a dog squad were posted at the spots to make rigorous searches.

In view of the situation, the authorities did the right thing to vacate the schools and send students home. The guardians were notified of the situation through text messages. An email from the school to the parents stated that all the safety measures had been taken, including informing the police and ensuring a smooth evacuation of students and teachers to a safe place.

The police in the area conducted a thorough search after reports of the threat and confirmed that no explosives were detected, hence the areas were marked safe to resume their normal activities. The schools, therefore, appreciated the parents for the trust and cooperation they rendered to the schools during the emergency.

The source of the email has been reported to have been launched to authorities. The police asked the people not to panic and not to believe in rumors while the case is being investigated. Incidents were reported in Delhi last year as well, which made the authorities sit up and take notice, only to discover that most of the bomb threats were hoaxes.
